i just received my free nuvi 200 and would like to know if my POI on my SD card which works with MP3 sound alerts will work on the Nuvi 200 which does not.
How can i make the sounds be active or do i have to convert to another sound format ?

You will have to convert the mp3's to wav files. this has been discussed in another thread already:
