POI Updates?

I just recently bought a new garmin 200 and have noticed that there are some stores around my home that have just recently been built do not show up in my POI's. Does Garmin offer any POI updates occasionally? I just uploaded the new 2009 map and thought that it might be included in that but it's not. Does anyone know?
Also...When I use the POI Loader it places my "custom POI's" in the extra folder. Is there a way to place them in the POI folder with their own icon?

Garmin does not offer POI updates alone, at least not to my knowledge.
No, you cannot place them in with the built-in POIs. Garmin places them in the folder when you run POILoader and there is no way to blend them together.
You can, however, save the locations to your favorites and have them show up there. I doubt if this is what you want to do, though.
