New glasses on order...

I wanted to let you guys know what has been going on with me so that you understand why I have not been as quick with some of my responsibilities as I usually am.

Over the last few weeks I have been having eye strain and headache issues. I went to the eye doctor yesterday and found out that my current glasses are not strong enough to support the work that I am doing on the computer.

I have a new set of bifocals coming in a couple of weeks which will help with my eyesight and I will be back up to full production mode.

What I am looking for from the group is a bit of patience with me and understanding of the situation. I tend to be a workaholic and will usually try to keep up with the work as it comes in.

I am going to be taking time away from my computer over the next 2 weeks so that I am not always having the headaches and eye pain that I have been experiencing.

So if I don't get right back to you or there is a delay in my email response, this is why.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

that naturally clumsy people should not try to walk around wearing bi-focals. I got my new glasses last Wednesday and I have already take two spills.

I went out with one of my girlfriends on Saturday and she handed me her 1 year old so she could have free hands. I was not able to see the ground on my left side so I plowed over my child and fell down with the baby in my arms. It could be that after 4 years of not having an infant I have now totally lost the ability to walk with a baby on my hip and it had nothing to do with the glasses.

Today I had Jon drop me off at the curb and when I went to step up I miscalculated the distance and wound up falling, landing on my knees and ruining my jeans.

I am really hoping that this new level of clumsiness is just part of the adjustment period.

You'll get used to it. But just wait til you get your next pair with a new prescription and have to get used to it all over again smile

By the way - my last set of no-line progressive bifocals with auto-darkening lenses was under $100.
