There will be times when you want to send a private message to another user at the POI Factory. This should help you. Note that each member here has the option to accept or not accept private emails.

To receive private messages

When you are posting information in the POI Factory forum, it is often desirable to provide a link directly to another post, either in the same forum thread or in a different thread. To do this, you need to find the post that you want to link to, then determine 3 numeric values that are used to construct the link URL.

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic comments in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

When you are new to poi-factory, it is likely that you are trying to find the answer to some question/problem. Likely the answer will be somewhere in some thread, but how do you find it?
