Will Open Office.org work with Garmin POI Loader

I would like to add some POI with some alerts and I wanted to use Open Office.org. My computer did not come with Windows Excell and I didnt want to go out and buy it. Has any one tried using Open Office?

I don't know about Open Office. Can it save files as a comma separated values file?

Also, you can use Notepad.

Yes, it will work

Oo's Calc program will save as CSV.

Thanks Keith, I will also try Oo's Calc program as well.. This will be my first time adding a POI, wish me luck..

OpenOffice works...

For the record, I also use Open Office to modify POI files without any problems.
