Limitation on Numbers of POI's

I have no problem loading POI Files along with bitmaps and mp3's on my 660. However, I notice that maximum number that will display in any (sub)category is 50. I know they have all loaded correctly because I can search and retrieve any location that was loaded. Is 50 the maximum that can be displayed or am I doing something incorrectly? Sorry if this seems basic but I'm still a newbie. Thanks.

maximum number that will display

50 is about the limit.You can touch near on your gps and pick another city to get another 50.

Search will check all

You only see 50, but I believe the search option will check through all the entries.

near feature

The near feature comes in handy sometimes.I typed in a address that had a highway number in it and could not get it to come up.I was looking for a hotel to stop at along the way to Florida.I knew the city so I touched near and typed in the city then the lodging icon and there it was.Someone on this site made me aware of the near feature too.I think Asianfire.
