Noob User -- Convert 660 to 670/680?

I'm new to the PND world, have used Telenav on Blackberries (loved it), but had to have the iPhone -- which only has google maps (and currently backlevel too).
Took advantage of some holiday sales and picked up a 660 from Tigergps. Love it ..
Seeing that the only real difference between the 660/670/680 is software (firmware) and maybe a different radio receiver (TDS vs MS data?) is there a way to "flash" the 660 to different versions in the same family?
If I wanted to "upgrade" the unit so that I can get Europe/US maps and MS data, can it be done?

No, you can't do that.
However, if you want to have the Europe maps loaded, you can purchase them and load them as supplemental maps.
