I was wondering if you can relocate the vehicle directory to your SD card and if so, is the path SD/garmin/vehicle or SD/vehicle?
Any help appreciated, I am not excited about mucking about in the garmin directory since I don't know what I am doing so if you have experience in this matter it would be appreciated.

Seems not
It seems that some things such as Vehicles and Voices are only accessed from the unit's own internal memory. (Unless they're a combination I didn't try

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking the same thing, but have not tested myself. Not being sure what is needed or optional, I am trying to be careful not to screw it up.

According to Garmins
According to Garmins customer service, the vehicles must be loaded into the vehicle folder on the units memory only.

That is true. But you can store the files anywhere you want. You just need to copy them to that folder when you want to use them. There isn't enough internal memory in the 2x0 for all of the vehicles unless you start deleting other system files.
