Converting Magellan files to Garmin?

I d/l the Illinois state parks.csv and tried to load it in my 660. But it failed. I opened it up and found a different layout than I use for my 660. I looked at the author and noticed he has a Magellan and I figured that they must use a different format. I tried POI Verifier, but that was a no-go. And idea's on a quick way?

I downloaded the file, removed the " from the front, save it as a text file (Copy and paste into notepad, then opened it as a comma delimited file. Re-ordered the files and then saved it as a CSV file. I ran the POIVERIFIER on it and it gave only 1 possible error (Duplicate entry)

If you are unsure how to do I can send you the updated file.

Thanks

I did what you said and it worked. But I really like address, so I created my own from scratch and by region instead of the whole state. Regrettably the webpage listed P.O. Box numbers as an address, so I will just use the city and zip. If I am in the area I will write it down and make the change. Thanks for you help, I have to remember that. wink
