Another personal question for Miss POI...

No, not that kind. smile

I've been reading a lot of the older threads and I haven't once seen anywhere what kind of hardware you use. What types of GPSrs do you and your husband use and enjoy. Likes, dislikes? Since this seems to be a tight community, we need to know more about the GPS Goddess...

Most of the time I use an old Garmin Streetpilot 2610, but I also have a few other models for testing.

Even though my old Streetpilot is a tank, I love how easy it is to use and move between cars. It's bean bag mount is a nice thing too.

Really now... I'd have

Really now... I'd have thought you guys would have the latest and greatest gadgets...

And yes, the Street Pilot is a tank. Gave my wife the 2720 when I got my Nüvi 660. I love the form factor and screen of the 660, but she ended up with the better GPS unit in the end, in my opinion.

And I'm a total bean bag convert, myself, too. I purchased one for my 660 after having problems with the suction cup. Even with the much lighter 660, it never slides at all.

Oh, I see. Italian ice... I thought maybe there was a funny story where you were walking about, so concentrated on your GPS, that you wandered onto a frozen lake...and fell in. smile

Now, come clean with Italian water ice

Now, Ms POI, out of curiosity, I read through all your references to Italian water ice. I still don't know what it is. Can you share the secret or do I have to travel to Phenonixville? Happy holidays.

I've always loved mine too...until the screen started getting very dim lately. I'm gonna miss my remote control! sad
