Garmin POI Loader does not list my Nuvi 250

I have a Garmin Nuvi 250. I have installed the Garmin POI Loader onto my Windows XP system. When POILoader is started, there are no menu items or any actions I can take.

How should this POILoader be used?

My Garmin is connected via the USB cable and I know the connection works. I have uploaded new vehicles to it. Yet, POILoader does not give me any options to do anything.

Ideas?

No controls displayed

It appears there should be a Next button, as part of a Wizard. I see none of that.

Indeed

There should be a "Next" button.

You could uninstall then reinstall and see if that helps. After checking the web site you have listed, I'm sure you've tried that.

I've had and continue to have this issue with the POI Loader. What I do is if I want to go next, I simply click on the POI Loader screen and press enter. For exit, press ESC. Enter will allow you to move forward to the next screen. Even though it's still hidden, you can still use it.
