POI Loader

I've downloaded the most recent version of POI loader, but can't seem to get it to work. It installs OK, but I don't get the buttons on the bottom of the window. I did get it to work ONCE....I've un-installed and re-installed numerous times. I'm running Windows XP Home Edition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Error Messages

Are there any error messages?
Which version of the POI Loader sofware did you install?

What Garmin Unit do you have?

POI loader

Poi version is 2.4.1 and I have a C550. There are NO error messages. I'm wondering if there is a problem with windows compatibilty?? Unlikely, I'm sure, but there could be a minor glitch.

Thanks,
Mark

Don't know if this helps, but there was an earlier thread dealing with this problem on the beta version. The user found his problem was related to the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar. See: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1876

Just moved my toolbar to the side, and tried running POI. It was already installed, nothing different. It works!!!!!!! Moved the toolbar to the top, it doesn't work.......Isn't Windows wonderful??

POI Loader, how do I know

POI loader was installed correctly, I do know that.
When I copied files i.e., covered bridges, how can I check to see if the files loaded properly and it works?

Checking POI files loaded onto GPSr

On your GPSr, you can go to: Where to? > My Locations > Custom POIs. You should see the listing.
