Possible issue with the new C340 software

I just downloaded the new 4.30 version of the Garmin software into my C340. It does perform as advertised in doing a faster satellite aquire. However, I was playing with the unit and put it into Simulate a trip mode (GPS receiver off) to let it run through a short trip. This was how I learned on it when I first got it and it worked perfectly then.
Now, it does simulate the trip but when it reaches the destination the unit promptly shuts itself off with no warning and all settings are reset.
This may be common to all the C's with the new software but if any other C340 owners could give this a whirl, I'd appreciate it. If it turns out to be an issue with the new software (and I suspect it is) we need to let Garmin know this. There may well be other hidden issues that may crop up at more inopportune times.

No glitches with 4.4 so far. Seems to work just great.

I'm one of those slo----w ones. Just like Windows OS. I usually wait for awhile before I upgrade so the bugs can be worked out.
I don't know this is the right attitude or not. I get frustrated easily with these techno stuff.
Just ordered a C340
I'll see which version I have on my new C340.
