Does anyone know of a POI Editor for the Mac platform, that will parse .gpx files and correct any XML formatting errors?
At the moment I'm using MacTools "csv2gpx app." but the resulting .gpx file won't upload to my Nuvi 670. I'm forced to manually add lines of XML code to the file, to make it aceptable for the Garmin's Mac POI Loader, to upload it to my GPS unit.
Thanks for your time.
Try GPX Editor available from the Mac App Store:
No reviews in the App store. Have you used it? If so please give us a few words about your thoughts on the App.
Mike, OK, I'll come clean. I searched the forum rules and didn't see any problems, but it there are, please let me know and I'll stop.
I'm a software developer for Mac and iPhone. I developed GPX Editor and GPX Viewer, both available at the Mac App Store. The apps are usually in the top 10 travel apps, so that might say something.
If you'd like to do a review on the product for the POIFactory, let me know and I'll send you a promo code for the app. Version 1.3 is due out shortly and it's even better. Let me know about the promo code. Also let me know if it's against the forum rules to post a reply when it's about a product I'm responsible for. Thanks!
