GPS makes it worse. I work there unfortunately and cross a bridge daily.
What is inconsistent is sometimes there are left turns, other times there are not. imho making it not as in not ever, is best. The double parking is insane--people just park in a travel lane and leave their vehicles. I suppose this is a carry over of behavior from Phila.

We just went on a 4 day to Celebration Key and Nassau. I definitely don't recommend going to Celebration Key, unless you just want to sit on a beach.

NYc has congestion pricing. There are lower till rates for traveling into the city after 9pm. So instead of going back home after a dental appointment, we headed upstate and came back after 9pm. They shut down the FDR drive for construction. The GPS did not know about it. I got off the FDR and took 2nd Ave. After several traffic lights and slow moving traffic I got on 2nd Ave. After a few blocks, 2nd Ave was shut down. The GPS did not know about that either. I detoured back down to the FDR and had to take the service road for a while until I was able to get back onto the FDR. Living in the city is a real nightmare. The city officials are very stupid and incompetent
I live here and pay NYC taxes yet still get charged for this nonsense. When retirement comes, I think I'm outta here.

Been to Alaska
Where did you go? If you haven't cruised there, try the Alaska cruise. That was my favorite, here in the US.
Gorgeous place. The Caribbean is nice for the ocean and beaches, but for scenery, Alaska takes the cake.

Duplicate toll bills
We are looking to get out of here as soon as we can. Just got the toll bill. They tried to charge me twice on the same day 2 minutes apart on separate toll bills.

On that HOF page, there are two weeks this year in April and August which for some reason are sorted incorrectly, appearing at the top of the list instead of at the bottom like all the others, but that is not the case with this week. It is just missing.
