It's been a while since I last did a road trip (2022). I recall back then I created the route on a windows 10 machine with mapsource, successfully saving it as a gpx which automatically imported into trip planner in the driveluxe 50.
I still have that machine but more recently have been using a laptop with windows 11 (23h2). Mapsource sees and reads the map data successfully as well as the GDB file.
However when I try to save the route as a gpx, mapsource crashes. So far the work around has been to import the file into basecamp and use it to save it as a gpx.
I absolutely hate basecamp and will not use it to create routes. It's quicker to do it in mapsource, especially with the keyboard shortcuts.
Am I missing something or mapsource is no longer working in win11, at least not as far as saving as a GPX?
