Mapfactor Navigator with offline maps

I have been using this Mapfactor Navigator GPS program for some time. Lots of free features including free offline maps. No data connection needed.. Any member looking for a free GPS program for their phone may like this. You can find the downloads here https://navigatorfree.mapfactor.com/en/download/ . One last thing it does have directions with street names. You may have to make a change in your setting . For my Samsung phone I had to make this change . Open navigator/settings/language and change voice engine to TTS
This post not to compare the Garmin GPS against a program for a phone. Just letting the members know about this free program and that I find to be a very useful and they may want to give it a try. They also have a forum you can join. https://forum.mapfactor.com/

Map Updates
One other note. Maps updated on a regular time frame.
OSM free maps are updated monthly. New TomTom maps are released approx every 3 months. Just finished updating new maps and cameras.
