The DriveLuxe 51 has a firmware update to 6.80 as of May 1, 2024.

I updated Garmin Express,

I updated Garmin Express, and then Garmin DriveSmart 51 firmware.

Then I tried repeatedly to update the maps - never starts.

I successfully updated the maps by using the garmin with wifi, not using garmin express.

So, something is wrong with either Garmin Express or the new 51 firmware ?

Same Issue

I have the same issue with both my 51's. I'm not sure what the problem is but I actually prefer to do updates via WiFi rather than GE, since it's much faster.

The only problem is, you can't update the PC maps for Basecamp and Mapsource at the same time. I do that when I update one of my other GPSr's.
