iPad owners now get Apple's Health app...

...the one that's been on the iPhone for a while (but has not been available on the iPad, because Apple assumed the Health app was more useful with more portable devices such as iPhones, rather than tablets).

So what? Well among other things, if you have had your hearing tested (as hearing aid users do) and own recent Apple AirPods or Beats headphones, you can map your audiogram to those playback devices, so they sound much more natural when playing back media on an iPad with iOS 17 and can destroy what's left of your hearing that much faster! Those of us in this niche group have been clamoring for this feature upgrade for a while, and with iOS 17, our wish has been granted.
