I've been gone from here for a while. I retired and the laptop crashed and I just never bothered to fix it ... until now.

Took a day trip from Myrtle Beach to Charleston just for a change of scenery and to have a seriously good lunch. Our go to destination for BBQ is Lewis BBQ in Charleston. John Lewis partnered with Aaron Franklin in Austin and then relocated to Charleston and opened his own place. John puts out some outstanding brisket and pulled pork. Totally worth the drive from wherever you are. He also has a tex mex place down there that we haven't tried yet but its on our list. Another easy drive down Rt 17 and back.

It's too hot to work outside, and we are just setting here waiting for the delivery of the couch and loveseat. Looks like nobody is on today.

Got to the cottage

A short trip out for breakfast.

I found and bought the A-frame camper I wanted last Christmas. Used it as couple times in the spring. Now I can't find anyplace to go that I won't be dodging, fire, tornados, flash floods, hail, lightning, earthquakes, volcanos, sink holes, or hostile government..............

Too hot to do anything.

Visited friends with high humidity and showers. Non-stop this summer!

Used the GPS to navigate to the Park N Ride ,Toronto Airport.

Then flew to Deer Lake Newfoundland. Had a 12 day bus tour that covered a huge swath of a beautiful province, from Corner Brook to Labrador and ending in St. John's.

Viking Settlements, Historic Ancient Whaling Settlements, Icebergs, Whales, Eagles, Puffins, and absolutely beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend it, but be prepared. Weather can be unpredictable, so layer for anything from very cool to downright warm.

I really enjoy long drives, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me!

Had to go out last night at 8 pm and clean the filter so the sprinklers would work.

Sunny and dry lately.

I thought I knew my way to the mechanic. He was down the street from my grocery store. Garmin told me to go a different way. Road was closed to construction. Detour signs got me lost in a loop. I had to use garmin to get back to the main road, and then have garmin route me the way it wanted to go originally. I thought I didn't need it that day, but I was wrong.

Lost Again! Now a good feeling, I know.

Picking up a friend from her mom's place to go to Renaissance Festival.

Helping out at my local Harley dealer Friday & Saturday leading or following demo Riders. The Harley tractor trailer is in with 17 of the 2023 demo fleet bikes. I'll be riding the 1 of the 2 demo routes all day both days. Feels like your just driving in circles after a while lol.

Just been staying home out of the heat as much as possible.

Baseball, relaxing time with family.

Yesterday travelled to Tobermory Ontario.

Just another ho-hum day in paradise.

True that

Spent 2 nights at Lego Land. If you plan to go there I recommend staying at the Beach Resort instead of the main hotel. You can go to the main hotel for the shows and restaurants but the Beach Resort is nice and quiet where the Pirate Hotel is very loud.

We enjoyed Lancaster years ago.
Would love to go again. Nice calm trip.

CT, NJ, PA, NY - Drove everywhere including areas that had no cell service which is why I still like built in NAV. Have a Pioneer (and when traveling use the Garmin).
