POI's 2018 Factory Navigation in a Chevy

Just got off phone with GM, they told me you cannot add custom POI's to my Factory Nav, 2018 Chevy.

GM workers could be the last to know whether custom POIs can be added to GM navigation. Did you try metricman's method?

I was able to add all sorts of things into my VW Nav system using a VW dealer in Germany, but then the site where I could do it with got shut down.
So now no more

Try an online Chevy users group. I think the Cadillac group was sponsored by GM. I got the info from a Cadillac users group and the steps originally came from GM, so the info is available. You just have to ask the right person.

OK, this will not work for all vehicle brands.

Go to Google.

Enter myPOIs followed by your vehicle's brand.

Example: "myPOIs" chevy

Use the quotes to make sure that Google doesn't search for partial finds. GMC, Cadillac, Nissan, VW and others will also work instead of Chevy.

Google is very helpful if you enter the right information using the right keywords.

They told me my Honda Accord 2014 couldn't have POIs added and I figured it out and posted the directions on The POI-Factory. Keep trying.

Which thread was that? I got a Honda Clarity last December and have not figured out how to add POI files to it, which I would really, really like to do.
