New Map Update 2022.20 Is Up

Thanks phranc for plugging and promoting my thread and announcement of the Garmin NA 2022.20 Map Update.

Are detailed roads on your 2022.2 version on base Camp? 2022.1 shows small local roads, 2022.2 does not

Yes, mine does. Click Maps in the menu bar and make sure that you are looking at the New Map, and not the Global Map. The Global map is just a gross map showing straight line representation of major highways.

Haven't had a chance to update to 2022.10. At this rate 2022.30 will be out before I update.

Garmin Express for my Nuvi 40LM tried to update maps but told not enough room so I went to Walmart, bought and installed a San Disk 32gb micro SD card (<$10.00) and it is updating now. I never even knew I could install a card or noticed the card slot

32GB is probably the maximum size the 40LM will recognize so if for any reason you get another card, don’t go bigger. You can go smaller, 8GB (if you can find it) and 16GB.
