Mentor to Geneva

Beautiful weather day yesterday so the missus and I and our kids went to the South River Winery in Geneva, Ohio. Got home, picked up our dog and went to our daughter's home and sat around a fire pit and watched the dogs play. Nice day.

River Oaks Car Show

Our 1st outing. We went to the River Oaks Car Show. This is a city near Fort Worth. I was raised there. It was so nice to be out after 14 months of not going anywhere. It was the 1st time to go without a mask. A little bit intimidating but we kept our distance and it wasn't crowded and it was outside. We only stopped to look at cars where no one was standing or setting near the car.
My husband was able to walk the entire show (a small car show). What an improvement. The Clinical Trial for his cancer is working. He still has cancer but not as much and maybe more will be destroyed over the next few months as the Nuclear Meds keep working for a while. He still has to get his cancer treatments but they are injections and make him feel better.
Just a great day out. Hopefully everyone is having a great week.

Thanks.
We still have the 55 Chevy. My husband started working on it in 2008 and finished it 2012. It has only been to the gas station twice. It has only been driven in our drive way, he circles around the tree in the middle of the dirve, except for the two gas trips. He tries to start it ever two week to keep it ok and keeps a trickle charger on it. He put a large block engine in it. It gets hot. He has tried everything, large radiator and stuff but still hot. Our son said larger engines like that will get warmer than what he is used to. He was thinking about putting a small block engine in it then he got sick so it has been put on hold.
Hopefully someday he will feel like working on it again. If not, we will just have to have someone else to install it. The hard part of that is finding someone who we know will do a good job.

Follow Up Visit

Drove to the doctor for a follow up visit after cataract surgery on my right eye. My vision in that eye is significantly improved. Surgery on left eye is scheduled for next week. Garmin must have updated the graphics on my GPS because the screen is a heck of a lot sharper now than it used to be!
