Installing POI on Rand Mcnally tnd 540

i have been searching all day long and have found nothing on how to install the POI's on a Rand Mcnally tnd 540 and was wondering if there was anyone on here that could give me instructions on the process? Rand Mcnally has the worst tech support I've ever come across!
DOCK Workaround
There is a workaround for models that aren't compatible with Rand McNally's DOCK software. I don't know if it applies to TND 540.
