Yeah, I bet the update popup prompt overlaid the "Store" selection on the underlying screen, and somehow I got multiple clicks when selecting the update prompt. I use the touchpad controls on my Alienware laptop instead of a real mouse, and sometimes it is easy to "fat finger" those controls.

Be patient...I found a long wait on a Win 7 Pro machine but it was using an HDD. My Win 10 Pro machine, with an SSD, probably took about 15 seconds for the GE screen to appear.
I installed this on two different computers just minutes apart. One went fairly fast, the other was very, very, very slow. Somewhere between here and Garmin, there likely were internet issues.
On another note:
If you have to disable your antivirus to do any installation, you need one of two things:
1. A different program to install,
2. A different antivirus.
With programs of integrity and a quality antivirus, you will never have to disable your antivirus.
I have to say, I have been a PC user since the early 90's. I moved to Linux around 2006 and Mac in 2012. I have never had to disable antivirus to install a program. I can agree with the statement upthread that "If you have to disable the antivirus to install a program..."
Norton used to be the worst about this. I haven't used an antivirus program since I left Windows in 2006.

I have had some programs tell me to disable anti virus.
I never did because then the door would be open for an attack. I never had an issue.
