Ok.... Isn't it about time for this re-occurring thread?
How long till next Map Update?

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

Garmin gave us the last update early without us getting a thread about wondering when.. Now.. with this thread.. we are doomed to wait 4 months.

New Map

Me personally...I have yet to see a map update to me any good. I understand that they also update the built in POIs but I rarely use those. Oh well...

map update

daily streaming updates whenever in wifi reach (house wifi reaches garage)
and 4 complete map updates a year including poi by wifi or cable
gets position right on the jumbo between LA and Melb and shows each island, (freaks a bit at the displayed speed)
lifetime updates for the entire world

last full map, Tuesday

not a Garmin,

The upgrade files would not fit on my NUVI2600. Had to install on card instead. What gives?
