In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

down into Mississauga, ON to RiderChoice.ca to pick up an order I placed. The old Nevi still works, and Garmin still issues updates for it occasionally. My daughter had my newer GPS

Made the trip many times but it is good having the Garmin tracking out progress. It actually suggested an alternate route round Cinci to avoid some traffic.

To Russia without love
Well since I'm traveling solo, its Russia without love but some lust. Russian women are very attractive. No I'm not into the babushka type !!!!
.
Left Monday night for Moscow via Warsaw. Didn't take my GPS, I figured the pilot has better equipment than my Garmin.
Getting Russian language lessons aboard the ship, after 2 days of lessons I',m fluent. I can say Nyet,Da and Dosvidanje.
A regular League of Nations aboard. I'm sitting in a bar for WiFi where some people are being told about our 3 days in Saint Petersburg in some foreign language, maybe Turkish???
We have a few Amerikanskis, Kanadas, Belgians, Lots of Quebeckers and a few unknown entities.

Mobile, AL
Mobile is Alabama's oldest city, and is referred to as the Azalea City. This nickname is related to the azalea flower. Mobile has an Azalea Trail, which is lined with countless pink blooms during the season. Mobile is also called the Port City, the City of Six Flags, which is related to the city’s cultural and founding histories, and the Birthplace of Mardi Gras. That’s right—any Mobilian will scoff at a person who thinks that Mardi Gras began in New Orleans. The city has adopted more casual nicknames in recent years, with many referring to it simply as Mobtown or Mob, although they don’t align with the pronunciation of Mobile (Pronounced Moh-BEEL).

Another great cottage
Another great cottage weekend, time away is always key.
lots
are coming up, but Brooklyn, NY.
With all the tolls involved getting there from PA, I'm really glad for the carpool plan over the Goethals ($6.50 instead of $12.50), and then the NY E-ZPass on the way back over the Verrazano ($11.52 instead of $17). I hate getting slammed going down to MD/DC paying cash rates even with E-ZPass.
Downtown DC
to find a restaurant we'd never been to before.

But did't use the Garmin. Used the BMW's nav system, which I'm not a fan of but it's a simple trip that we've done before. So I only used the built-in system to monitor traffic and give us a running ETA.
