Is the Garmin server down?

I just tried to update the maps in my 1450, but when I started MapUpdater (NOT GE), I'm getting the message "A connection to the server could not be established..."
Is anyone willing to try MapUpdater to see if you get the same result?

Oops

I shut MapUpdater down and immediately tried to bring it back up... it failed again.

Happened

Happened to me the other night as well. Waited an hour and all was well.

I waited a couple of minutes and it started successfully. I'm not stopping it until the maps get updated. Phew!

I use Garmin Express only so

I use Garmin Express only so no experience with the map updater anymore. It could be server overload.
