on my nuvi 760 i used the "Jack" voice and on nuvi 2797 i see only "semantha" & "michelle" where are the man ? and how can i load "jack" from my nuvi 760 ? i tryed just copy & paste and when i tried to use it, it said not compatible

It's a completely different TTS generation of voice file.

myGarmin and Garmin Express
Your two-voice results sound a lot like the voices that come stock on the 3597. If you go to the myGarmin web site or use Garmin Express, you should find many more English language voices that can be downloaded and installed. The extra voices are several hundred MB in size so figure the download may take 50% of the overall download time for a map update. WebUpdater will not find the extra new voices, but once they're installed, WebUpdater will offer voice updates when they are made available.

I can't imagine giving up my 760. It does things that none of the newer units do.
