About speed cameras and failure to stop at stop sign cameras.

With these kinds of GPS's you speed / fail to stop at a stop sign n' the GPS gives you a ticket.

While it's not happening just yet, just wait, some "Bright" legislator will see this as a new and novel way to generate revenue, so the law will stipulate all vehicles must have one of these.... Just watch... It'll happen just as sure as a baby's bottom is smooth smile

Governors - Speed Control not Politicians

When I was a kid, I worked as a swamper on a delivery truck for a corporate bakery. The company installed governors on all the trucks that had highway deliveries - restricting the maximum speed to 65 MPH.

And that was 50 years ago!

If there is a concern that the government will require installation of trackers to identify speeders, just install a governor. Problem solved!

Nothing but a bandaid...

This kind of device on private vehicles is likely along way off. For commercial vehicles it may not be far off but again you have many independent local and long haul drivers who own their own trucks so full implementation would be years away.
Better driver training, better pay, away from home for less days, more quality sleep and better overall health of the drivers who drive for 10-12 hours a day would do more than a GPS ticketing system.
Speed is simply a part of the problem.
