In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Has anybody been to "Grumps Burgers" in Granbury, Texas?
Saw it on the tv yesterday as the #1 spot for hamburgers.
May take a drive down there.
Been to Granbury many times but not to "Grumps". We enjoy the "Nutshell Eatery and Bakery" located on the south side of the Town Square. (SW corner Pearl and Crockett) I may have to check this place out also.

Ferry Ride
Garmin plotted my route that passes through Federalsburg, MD going to Laurel, DE. Never been on the roads before. It took us to a ferry that crosses the Nanticoke River. The ferry ride is FREE!. Very pleasant drive through the country.

So many speed limits incorrect on the Garmin now. A lot have been updated on the roads and not on the garmin maps.

My only travel this month is for work. Ugh. I do use my GPS though. I listen to audio books on the GPS through the car stereo. (Gotta love keeping the old nüvi running for this function alone.) Even though I usually know where I'm going for work I still let the GPS give me directions as I sometimes zone out and get lost listening to my book and forget to turn where I'm supposed to turn. D'Oh!

Just got back doing a trip from Arizona to NM, CO and back. My new GPS is so good that I thought it was bad. It said I would arrive at 4:00pm and I had 27 more miles to drive. My time was 2:31pm. No way, I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I turned it off, re-booted it and then went to settings and turned off automatic time and set the time correctly. Well, I was wrong. It knew we were on the Indian Reservation and they use day-light savings time in Arizona and the rest of Arizona doesn't. I set my GPS back to Automatic time.

Just got back from San Francisco area... Fantastic time visiting daughter, and repairing a Jukebox that we shipped her a couple months ago...
Used the Nuvi 660 for up to 25 routes in the area... and not one issue!!!
A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!
