Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – August 2014

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

The first week of June we went to the Destin/Panama Beach area, never been before. Used our GPS to navigate around the area. Did find us a "Donut Hole" on Hwy. 98. Awesome place to eat, by the way.

The wstful land of Mark Twain

We just returned from a lovely and relaxing time in Hannibal, MO. A tourist town? Yes, to a point, but not excessive. There are a lot of really nice folks there and some excellent eats at reasonable prices. We did a riverboat dinner cruse that was very nice, and spent an afternoon with my cousin friends at the winery at Mark Twain Cave. We stayed in our motorhome at Mark Twain Cave campground which was a lot like a park. Very relaxing.

So.... Our windmill is turning at a health and fun speed.

Oh yes, check out Mark Twain Brewery for GREAT ribs, and nice folks.
