Garmin Express Version 3.2.1.6.0

Over the past several years I have loaded GE several times and every time it buggered up my computer and did not work. I'm sticking with the old stuff that works.

Also the revision is 3.2.16.0 instead of 3.2.1.6.0 - (no doubt just a typo)

Sorry for the type. Yes it is 3.2.1.6.0. I don't want or expect any awards from anyone. When I did not see any thread by this version name that is why reported it. Sorry for the inconvenience. I don't get time to read all threads on the site. So very sorry for reporting it.

No worries rookie8155, it seems there has been no shortage of reports on Express updates.

I may have started one or two of them myself...

I think that most of us do not expect any awards. But, I think it is nice to get one anyway.

Interesting list of version updates. The last entry for Mac 3.2.16.0 seems to be the same version number for PC, too. Has G started to use the same version number for both platforms?

Wow just seems lime they just updated the software.

Anyone notice that at every update GE put its desire to start with Windows whether or not you have removed it from msconfig previously or unchecked the box to start with Windows?

Why would you even want or need GE to run in the background anyway?

In version 3.2.13 Garmin added a feature to allow users to disable Express Tray application and core services from running all the time.

... because Garmin Express is for more than map updates. Newer devices get frequent software updates, so you might want Express to check for updates frequently. Also, people with fitness devices use Express daily to upload their workout data.

But for me, I am glad that Garmin added the option to disable the automatic startup. I can run it if I need it, but ignore it most of the time.
