Garmin Viago

I just have wifi, and am still trying to get it to work offline, is there a secret?or do you need 3G?

@ewayne1941 ...ViaGO works just fine offline if you have purchased the "Maps to go" add on. Without the maps, you would need a live connection (wifi or 3G) for it to be useful.

I have purchased the maps to go, but it still tells me no internet connection

installed, didnt work so now am downloading the lower 49 states, see if that will work. I also have the additional files

I have Wifi to download the maps.
The downloaded maps worked great for me when I turn the wifi off.
Any of them should have worked.
Is there a check mark by yours in your download manager?

Yes, the check mark shows it is installed

The only time mine tells me no internet connection is if I try to use something that needs internet, or it needs to download something.
Have you tried to redownload your map to go that you are trying to use?

I read on another forum that there's a post on the Garmin Blog explaining how to use Viago to plan multistop trips (iOS and Android)
