Question on Garmin Astro 220

Can you download a .gpx file to the Garmin Astro 220 and have it usable? I am tired of installing Geocaching locations one at a time. I can get them in a .gpx file that I can install all at one time.

Thanks

Try These

Here is a link to a 2 year old blog on another site:

It may help with what you're trying to do.

There is also software available for Geocaching with an Astro 220:

It may be worth a look.

Thank you

I read the article and downloaded the program. I will give it a try.

Found an easy solution!!!

I have found an easy answer/solution to my conundrum. I have GeoBeagle on my smart phone so I am subscribed to Bcaching.com.

I logged onto Bcaching.com and created a Geocaching.com Pocket Query that uploaded to Bcaching.com.

I then went to the Desktop Map View page where a map of all of the caches I wanted showed. At the bottom of the map was a button that said Send To Garmin Device.

I plugged my Astro 220 into the computer and clicked the button AND....... it failed.

There is a bug in the collection of software that won't let you send anything to the Garmin unless you list the website in the Tools/Compatibility View settings. So I added both Geocaching.com and Bcaching.com.

Now, I clicked the button again AND.......it downloaded all of the caches in my pocket query to the Astro 220 in a flash.

I am SO happy.
