Why wont Garmin let us know when they will be released?

That would be so much better in my opinion.

When is the next Garmin map update? (Here's the answer)

This site provides fairly accurate timeframes: http://forums.gpsreview.net/viewtopic.php?t=17527

Soon?

How accurate is the timetable.

It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'soon' is...

Agree on routing error fixes

The last Version of the maps put some routes in my unit that are wacky. On a route that I use every day for work it changed 2 turns. It shows the route as it allways had but the guidance instruction tells me to make a left turn when it shows the norml right turn. You're not even allowed to make a left turn at the spot

Maybe this week.

Let's hope it will be.

November 12

Well, my predicted day is here...
Maybe?

Only FIVE pages?

I can't believe this is still only at 5 pages. If we don't get to about 15 pages Garmin likely won't release the thing.

That's why the maps weren't released when Werskine stated this afternoon. They were pulled off maps to work on fixing the server problems with healthcare.gov.

Poor map update last time

I experienced the exact thing with the latest update. I called Garmin and told them that they should just start from scratch and reissue a new map update because this last one had more errors than before and many changes that were incorrect from the earlier version, wrong turns, turn left instead of right, bad directions that ran you in circles, etc. Frankly,I hold my breath every new update .

It must be out....

Because we're at page 5!!!

One afternoon lasts this long is definitely not earth time. Hope they don't come out a map for some distance planet.

It's non-planetary afternoon has to be at least 10 pages long...

2014.30 uploaded on servers

http://download.garmin.com/RMU/_download_manifests/NA/2014_3...

Considering the 2014.30 update was just now put on the servers this week, I don't think we're gonna see this update till December easily. It's normally a good 2-3 weeks (at the very least) after the update has been uploaded on the server before they release it out to customers.

The update was uploaded onto Garmin servers last week on November 6th but I do agree that it'll take a few weeks before it's released to their customers.

A bit pessimistic as the update has been on the server since at least Nov 6th, as reported on Page 4 by Canuk. wink
