2597 questions

I have been looking at the 3597 and the 2597 and don't really need all of the bells and whistles the 3597 has, but I have a couple of concerns about the 2597. The 2597 has the same display resolution that my 855 has and I'm wondering if that would be objectionable with the 5" screen? If so I would consider staying with the smaller screen. Another thing I want to verify is, the list I got from Garmin states that the 2597 when NOT navigating will show the cross street or road you are approaching in the bar at the top of the screen and the road you are on at the bottom of the screen. I don't care too much about the road I'm on but I don't want another Nuvi that doesn't show the cross streets in the top bar. Can one of you guys that has a 2597 give me some answers?

I have no problems with the 5 inch screen and its resolution. I would have nothing less. The next street up does show on the bar at the top of the screen when not navigating. However, you never know with Garmin, that could change with the next firmware update.
