In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.)

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Traffic

I use mine every day going back and forth to work. I know how to get to work and home but I use it to monitor traffic conditions on the highway since I drive 50 miles each way. It alerts me to upcoming traffic conditions so I can come in the back way if needed.

Golf trip to east end of Long Island, 5/8 & 5/9. Then it's off to Oak Park (Chicago suburb), IL the 10th to the 15th.

Different route

I took my time on the way home from Oil City, PA this afternoon. I took a side road into the hills and after a while tapped "Go Home". Had a nice, pleasant ride through the hills on roads new to me for a while.

GPS Trip

Just returned from Santa Fe, NM, from Palm Desert CA, which is a distance of approx. 1600 miles. My Garmin GPS did not miss one turn. So glad I have it on road trips to locals that are new to me.

I actually tried the traffic subscription once with my 760. I live in Northern California and the only time I ever got any traffic info was when I got down in the Sacramento area. There is no traffic coverage for the northern part of the state. (No, San Francisco is NOT in Northern California.)

Uss Midway

grin razz Travel to USS Midway Downtown San Diego, CA. two days a week from La Mesa CA. I have used nuvi to take different routes to see the shortest travel time. Very useful, also enjoyed the ability to rate my visit to the Midway, it was great!

Mission Inn Riverside, CA

Went to Mission Inn Resturant to celebrate my grandson's grauation from nursing school, he is an RN now, yipee!
Anyhow, the outside food patio is fantistic, service and food is great, enjoyed seeing the African Macaws that are in a cage just outside the seating area. They bring them out of the cage to feed them at about 7PM, at sight to see!

Prior to Mission Inn, used Garmin to direct us to graduation, got there with no problems!

AAP

Advanced Auto Parts for a new battery. Somehow coaxed a couple of starts out of the old one, but it was touch and go today. Alternator provided juice for the electronics including the nav device.
