you get no onscreen prompts from poiloader? did i do something wrong?

need more info
When you start poi loader, do you not get the next, cancel, help buttons?
Or do you get past that and then nothing else?
Perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling.
or search here. I do recall a couple of others with similar problems- all were easily corrected.

Found other solution
None of the other suggestions worked for me. I found elsewhere that the program was working, only the screens were not drawing correctly:

What fixed it for me was that if your Windows taskbar isn’t at the bottom of the screen, then the POILoader won't work properly. As soon as I moved the taskbar to the bottom of the screen (it was at top) and closed, then restarted POILoader, it worked fine...no reinstall needed.
