Why don't they name it Black Wednesday then? You have to wonder with as cheap at GPS units are any more how much lower they can go.

Garmin Email

I received the Garmin email but I am still not sure what would be worth getting. My 765T is still a great device and I have no desire to chuck it all and start over with new accessories and subscriptions.

Its about the wants not the needs? Just ask Juggernaut.
He still has his 765. I would have mine also had it not bitten the biscuit. Besides, subscriptions are automatic. The only thing you will have to do is convert your mp3 to wav. Minor detail. I'm sure we all in here can help you spend your money laugh out loud

Wait And See

We'll just have to wait and see what is on sale.

I doubt GPSr units will be half off, so it will probably be accessories and software on big sales.

I lost interest in the Garmin nuvi line when they introduced Trip Planner. Unless and until they come up with something comparable to or better than the legacy Custom Routes, I will keep using my old nuvis.

The only Garmin product that looks interesting to me at present is the Montana, which is kind of a handheld/automotive cross-over if you get the auto accessories and CN NA map. I like the fact that it has the conventional routing. But with all the required add-ons it is just too expensive.

If you used one of the new ones, you might change your mind. Really nice display, faster boot up times.
