Miss POI

Hope someone volunteers for Austin TX

Hello.... I have a general and a more specific version of my question..

I was going to upload a municipal POI for my local city. But couldn't find a category for a city POI and as I was stumbling around I found the Minneapolis project. Was wondering that what I was developing locally could somehow automagically be plugged into the Minneapolis project?

I am pointless at this point and am trying to contribute something I didn't find and want for my own use, plus I will distribute through my local city information web site and weather site.

Would it be possible to suggest that this project has a "home-page" which shows all the states and territories and where each entry is linked to a sub-page that has links to the metro areas in the respective state/territory?

There are a lot of non-metro areas in each state which have either a historical or other see-worthy point of interest and they should not be left out.

With all of the tourist activity in the area, and the visiting musicians that come to "Music City, USA", it would be really nice if we could have a metro project for Nashville, TN.

So how do I go about joining the project. Is there a formal application?
