I'm sure this question has been asked/answered a 1000 times. I looked at FAQ and couldn't find it. So what is it? How and why would I take one? What does it do? What question am I NOT asking here that I should of? Thanks in advance.

I can answer the "how and why".
How: load your 9 mm or .357 magnum, aim at your computer display or GPS, pull the trigger.
Why: your device pisses you off.
Ok, get serious now. Screen shot means taking a snapshot of what you see on the display. When asking a question on the web, we can't see what you see. A "screen shot" or a picture of what you're seeing on the display/monitor helps those understand your problem a lot better.
Are you asking about GPS or computer screen shot?
