I have three C550's and they "borrow" the phone book from the phone. I have a Motorola Droid Bionic. When I first got the phone it showed "Load Phone Book". That is gone now. I have contacted Garmin wiht no response on this issue.
I also have c550, this is my second phone I went with a different company I never had any problem with my phone book..Click on the Bluetooth icon on your setting and click on troubleshoot, also see if the bluetooth it say ENABLED..if still does not work, select the CHANGE button and it should show your phone on the very first one on top,if does not show your phone ,deleted and pair up your phone again.click on add device and find me also do the same thing with your phone..when asked to enter the code remember the Code are 1 2 3 4 I think or maybe just 1 2 3..but the Gps will tell you what they are.and enter those number with your phone, keypad
And I am sure that the reason you did not get an answer from Garmin cause must be something wrong with your phone .or you did not pair your phone correctly..and not the Gps fault.
No I don't mine is a LG dumb phone but I had one occasion the phone was paired allowing incoming and outgoing calls but the phone book was missing, I removed the phone from the Bluetooth in the 2460 and paired again and it has worked every time since.

My problem is with the Nuvi 2460, no problems with my C550.
bluetooth and 2460
Once your phone is paired to the 2460 the phone book shows on the 2460, at least that is how mine works.
Are you able to dial and receive calls from the 2460 while paired to the phone?
