Hello everyone,
I am kinda worried updating (firmware) my Nuvi 350 because you know sometimes when they try to fix one thing, they end up messing another thing. Has anyone found any messups with the new firmware?
Thanx,

I have been happy with all
I have been happy with all the nuvi 350 firmware upgrades. You can always downgrade to an older firmware level.
Note in the past there have been lots of people reporting lock-up problems with the webupdater. I only upgrade manually by downloading the firmware. It is just one less thing that could go wrong.

It says it added the limit
Thanks, but I am not sure still because of the following: It says it added the limit of 500 mp3s--that is retarded. Is it really worth it? If I have a 4GB card and I can only put in 500 mp3s, that is just not cool.

I've been using it for over a week with no problems.

MP3's
Hi, I am new to this, but does the Garmin 650 only allow uploads of Mp3's or are there any other music file types available?
There used to be a 500 title limit
The upgrade in firmware increases it to 1000 titles. My 4GB card has about 670 titles, leaving some room for custom POIs.

Mp3 is it

MP3 is the only supported format.

firmware upgrade
Where can I get this firmware update/upgrade?

It's at: http://www8.garmin.com/support/blosp.jsp - or if you have Garmin's wbe Updater installed on your computer, hook your Nuvi to the computer and let it do it's thing.

It says it added the limit
The directions for mine say the 350 will only accept cards up to 2GB. Maybe that's why it reaches the limit at 500 mp3s.
Sorry everyone I read
Sorry everyone I read wrong:
Changes made from version 2.20 to 2.30: Added limit of 500 MP3s.
Changes made from version 3.30 to 3.80: Improved MP3 player: increase maximum number of MP3s to 1000
So it seems the max is 1000 songs, which is I guess good because if 1 song is 5 mb, 1000 songs would be 5000 mb, which is 5 GB (did I calculate right). So it works out.
