CB&C

I cooked my corned beef and cabbage the other day in a slow cooker. It came out alright but the meat shrunk to about 1/3 the size. The taste is fine.

Happy coming St. Paddy's Day

Torn

I'm still trying to locate a few people I know in Japan. I knew they were far enough away from Sendai, but I just picked up news that their area had been affected, too. sad

At the same time, I'm glad to see that many of us here at POI Factory are ever cheerful on Monday. Thanks, everyone! I really needed that sense of normalcy. smile

Rain in Northere CA

Well, it's raining now, and is suppose to continue, off and on, for the rest of the week. I never get tired of it, we still need the water.

My prayers go out to the people of Japan. I spent 3 full years there when I was in the Navy and learned to love the country and its people.

Everyone have a good week and please take care of each other.
