Nüvi 760 and wav files...?

Anybody knows if Nüvi 760 can play wav files? Mp3 works all right.

The 7x0 series can only play mp3 files. As per the owners manual:

"The nuvi supports MP3 music files, and M3U and M3U8 playlist files".

.WAV alerts

DorkusNimrod is correct. The media player on the 7xx nuvi's will only play .MP3, not .WAV. However, you can use .WAV files for custom POI alerts if you install the SOX.EXE utility program in the folder where POI Loader is installed. Note that SOX.EXE is not required if you use .MP3 files for custom POI alerts.
