Garmin 1490LMT Stuttering Issue

Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has ran into their Garmin 1490LMT stuttering while giving directions? It doesn't happen all the time but I've notice it happening more and more frequently lately.

Did you try updating to the latest firmware. I think there was an update a couple of weeks ago.

I have a 3790 and had the same problem. Since I disabled the 3D and DEM maps I have not had the problem. Maybe the processor is overloaded.

The 1xxx
The 1xxx series can show various signs of processor overloading. The stuttering voice is one of those issues.
Nuvi 350, 760, 1695LM, 3790LMT, 2460LMT, 3597LMTHD, DriveLuxe 50LMTHD, DriveSmart 61, Garmin Drive 52, Garmin Backup Camera 40 and TomTom XXL540s.
TTS Voice Editor
Using the TTS Voice Editor I increased voice rate on the voice file I've been using and there's definitely less stuttering than it used to be. Search topics for TTS Voice Editor and you'll find all information about it.
Fortunately
I've had the 1490LMT about 3 weeks and haven't noticed any pppp rrrr o b lem with Jack's voice.
I use mine in Track Up navigation mode.
