I'm waiting on the 2350, by black Friday

I think you will see the 23XX models by Black Friday but you probably will not see any aggressive pricing as they will be so new.

I'd look for sales on the some 37xx models and of course some older models.

Must be getting close because they already started building in the FAQs for the units, updated 11/01/10 to warn of slow performance with one feature:

The nuvi 2200 and 2300 family of products features a revamped look and feel along with the following features

Note* The trafficTrends feature on the 2200 and 2300 family of products will be disabled out of the box due route calculation performance. Enabling this feature will result in slower then normal route calculations when compared to other devices. At this time the route calculation time will take 2-3 times as long when compared to the nuvi 3700 family of products. Garmin will release software updates that will improve the performance of this feature and our goal is to have this feature performing up to standards sometime in the first half of 2011.

Amazon pre-order says says December 20, 2010 release date for the 2350LT.
Will probably get this to replace my stolen 755T.

From Amazon, sadly Garmin's website gives me no such news aside from Ships 4th QTR

The latest today says it will be available Jan. 7, 2011. I did a google search on garmin 2350 release date.

I'm interested with the 2360lmt.
At first the release date was third quarter of 2010, then fourth quarter and now first quarter of 2011.

I read in the financial papers, that Garmin did not reach their GPS expectations in their automotive sector.

Would it have to do with their release date?

It's Jan. 15, and the 2360LMT is still not released. However, they have already dropped the price by $50, and announced the next in the series, the 2460LMT...it is very similar to the 2360 except for a bit wider screen (but identical number of pixels), no 3-axial compass, or rotating the screen. Its price is now the same as the original price on the 2360LMT.

John, the prices are dropping faster than Amazon can keep up with, the 2350LMT was supposed to be released with MSRP of $269 they now have it listed at Garmin site for $229.99 at GPSCITY.com $199.95

The 2360LMT at Garmin $259.99 at GPSCITY.com $239.99 and the 2460LMT $299.99 at GPSCITY $279.95

I was also going to get the 2360 when it came out. Glad it wasn't released as I'm now interested in the 2460.

Well it shipped finally. I send an email to support asking if I would be given a $40 credit since they have dropped the price from when I pre-ordered in October. While we are still resolving that, he indicated it had already shipped and arrives this Tuesday.
