Which is Better, CSV or GPX

It seems my old StreetPilot 2720 can use either file through POI Loader. If I have the option of getting either file, which one should I use? If there are advantages to each, would someone please tell me what those advantages are?

It depends on a couple of things,GPX files will always be larger and have the phone attribute where you can dial directly from your garmin, if you have enough storage space available, I always use the .gpx file when I have a choice, but then I have additional 4gb of space for my POI files
