How to transfer a Mapquest map to my Garmin 755T

I am totally new with GPS and have just purchased a refirbed 755T. I am trying to save a map from mapquest to my GPS but am having no luck, infact I can't save it in GPX or CSV. Is there a sticky or step by step some where?
Any help to get me on the right trail wil be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

What do you mean...

What do you mean when you say "save a map from mapquest to my GPS"? Are you literally trying to save a "map" or are you trying to save "points" on a map?

Mapquest transfer

Plug your GPS into your computer.
Find what your looking for in Mapquest.
Click on the word "Send" in Mapquest page.
Click on "Send to GPS".

That's it.

When I click on "send to" I

When I click on "send to" I only get email, mobile, facebook and twitter as options. This is using the new Mapquest.
Am I missing something?

After downloading and installing Communicator I made aroute with mapquest and pressed "send" but ther was no gps option, only email, cell or onstar. The garmin ws hooked to the computer when I did this, any suggestions?

Highlight the parts

Highlight the parts of the map you want to send to your GPS. As first you have to use Maptool either by going Tools/Map or clicking on Maptool icon that is located on Tools toolbar. After that when you press send you'll have option to send the map to your connected GPS. If a map has more than one part you'll have to highlight all of them if you want entire map on your GPS. For example the newest CNNA 2011.20 contains 143 smaller maps.

Wrong Answer.

Confusion abounds

I think many people get Mapquest, and MapSource confused with each other. Mapquest are the online maps, and MapSource is the Garmin install to the computer.

Did you do the Test?

"The Garmin Communicator Test Page is a great place to visit if you're having any problems. The test page runs a series of test including; Internet browser compatibility, Communicator version check, device detection and communication."

Thanks for all your help. I

Thanks for all your help.
I have figured how to do it, but it has opened new questions that I must answer and understand. To do so I must play with this to get my answers, the best lessons learned are the ones we have to work on to understand and I am going to do that. Later I will come back for more help, once I understand things better, i.e. lots of practice.
Thank you for all your excellent help, it has shown me the way to the next step.
